Voyt Lynn has served in vocational ministry for more than two decades. He began serving as Director of Missions for South Central Association of Southern Baptists in September 2020. Prior to being called to SCASB, Voyt served as pastor of First Baptist Church of Douglass for almost 11 years. An active participant in local, state, and national Southern Baptist denominational life, Voyt is a past president of the Kansas-Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists, and he currently continues to serve the churches of KNCSB as president of the Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptist Foundation. He and his wife, Becky reside in Douglass with their four children.
Bea Ward has joined the SCASB team as Ministry Assistant. Bea has been active in the association for over 30 years, including 16 years of service as the Associational Treasurer! Bea also actively serves her home church of First Southern Baptist of Arkansas City in various ways, including an ongoing position on the church media team. She and her husband, Robert, currently reside in Winfield.
